Designing a life we truly enjoy

During my coaching process, I encourage my coachees to create a vision board which is forward-looking with action. I suggest they print their boards and place them somewhere clearly visible. Life can often feel overwhelming, but a vision board serves as a gentle reminder to nurture balance, focus on our priorities and intentionally create a life we truly enjoy.
A Meaningful, Playful, and Relaxed Theme
My meaningful goals for 2026 are to publish my first book and to dedicate more time to coaching. After mentoring Lancaster students for five years, I have decided to step away from that role. Through my coaching and mentoring journey, I’ve discovered that my true strength lies in helping individuals navigate stressful work environments while maintaining balanced and fulfilling personal lives. Creating balance on one’s own terms is essential for maintaining physical and mental well-being, staying focused at work, and living a life that is genuinely sustainable.
Once I move back to Hong Kong, I hope to resume hiking in the spring, autumn, and winter. To me, hiking is a multi-purpose activity that allows me to exercise, detox through sweating, and connect with family and friends. In the summer, kayaking in the UNESCO Geopark will likely be a wonderful adventure. Hiking in the Japanese mountains, surrounded by red autumn leaves, has also long been a dream on my bucket list.
Lastly, I won’t forget the importance of rest and self-care. Making time for regular facials and massages will be an enjoyable way to relax and recharge.
This vision board makes me look forward to my new chapter, even though I am currently in a hectic process of packing, feeling both exhausted and uncertain at times.

設計我們真正享受的生活

在我的教練過程中,我鼓勵學員創作一個具有展望將來並包括具體行動的願景板。我建議他們把它印出來,放在當眼的地方。生活常常讓人感到壓力無比,而願景板則能溫馨地提醒我們要保持生活中的平衡,專注於優先事項,並有意識地創造我們真正享受的生活。
一個有意義、有趣、輕鬆的主題
我在2026年的重要目標是出版我的第一本書,並投入更多時間從事教練工作。在蘭卡斯特大學指導學生五年後,我決定卸任。在我的教練和導師過程中,我發現我真正的優勢在於: 幫助人們在壓力巨大的工作環境中,保持平衡而充實的個人生活。按照自己的方式創造平衡對於保持身心健康、在工作中的專注以及過真正可持續的生活是至關重要的。
回到香港後,我希望能在春、秋、冬三季重拾行山的樂趣。對我而言,行山是一項多功能的活動,既能鍛鍊身體,又能透過出汗來排毒,還能與家人和朋友聯繫感情。在夏天,我希望划獨木舟去參觀在聯合國教科文組織的世界地質公園,應該會是一個美妙的冒險。而在一個遍山紅葉的日本的山間徒步是我人生的願望籃清單之一。
最後,我不會忘記休息和自我關懷的重要性。定期做護膚和按摩是放鬆身心、恢復活力的好方法。
這張願景板讓我對未來的新一頁充滿期待,儘管我目前正在忙於收拾東西,有時感到疲憊和迷茫。
